Joshua Kroker is a Public Policy and Governance (Honours) student at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) in Antigonish, NS. Although growing up in Southern Alberta, he has a newly developed interest in Canadian Arctic security and sovereignty policy. Since beginning his studies at StFX, he has worked with Dr. Adam Lajeunesse, Dr. Peter Kikkert, and Dr. P. Whitney Lackenbauer on Arctic policy research and analysis. In November 2023, Joshua travelled to Yellowknife, NWT, as a rapporteur at the Kitikmeot SAR Roundtable and learned from various Arctic actors and stakeholders about their critical role in the region. He looks forward to working with the Arctic community to help develop a prosperous Arctic region.
